Juan Pitta Reps Latinos in Racing
sitv_latino_sports_juan_pitta623.jpg

In the good ol’ Estados Unidos, Latinos tend to get pigeonholed into one sport – baseball. Hey, no offense taken, we do kick a$% on the diamond, but with my SITV.COM blog I try as often as possible to showcase the diversity of successful Latino athletes in America. It ain’t all just beisbol (although...we do dominate). Read More

Who wouldn’t want the body of a professional athlete? These people work out everyday, train in the best facilities, and represent the pinnacle of health and fitness…usually. Read More

Latino Father/Son Sports Combos

Father’s Day means something different for everyone. For me, my pops deserves nothing but love and admiration. A role model and my personal hero, he works harder than anyone I know, yet still finds the time and strength to be a devoted family man. For all his good qualities, my pops made one mistake raising his son. While on vacation in Montreal, he took me to a game at Olympic Stadium.  Although not my pops’ intention (I hope), the experience instantly turned me into a fan of Les Expos. Read More

For anyone interested in supporting the best Spanish-speaking club swingers, I recommend checking out the U.S. Read More

Surprise, Sammy Sosa Cheated!
sitv_latino_sports_sammy_sosa6172.jpg

So, Sammy Sosa took performance-enhancing drugs. According to reports, the former Chicago Cub and Mark-McGuire-Home-Run-Race-Counterpart appears on the “confidential” list of 104 MLB players who tested positive for PEDs back in 2003 (yeah, the same list that transformed A-Rod into Aster-Rod/A-Roid/A-Fraud). Lange Rips Buck, Romo is 'Bottom Heavy'
sitv_latino_sports_tony_romo6162.jpg

Thanks to the Orlando Magic not being able to hit free throws, lay-ups, or show any heart in an elimination game at home, the rest of the week looks pretty slow for sports. (Seriously, how many chances did Orlando have to make the Finals an actual series). Read More

Kobe Bryant Deserved To Win
sitv_latino_sports_kobe_bryant615.jpg

Man, what a game last night: action, drama, 4th quarter heroics, truly a match for the ages. Or not. In reality, the Lakers whooped up on the Magic in one of the most boring deciding Finals games since, well, last year’s deciding Finals game. A flat-out historic victory for Los Angeles, and I can’t believe I’m about to say the following but…congrats Kobe Bryant. Read More
