sitv_street_dreams_pharrell.jpg

Rob Dyrdek’s Street Dreams is a skater’s mojado dream. It’s a flick produced by a skater about skaters. The flick revolves around Derrick Cabrera (Paul Rodriguez) an amateur skater who fantasized of making it big like Dyrdek once did. The movie looks interesting and the soundtrack is thumping. They got mega-hitmaker/skater Pharrell Williams—he of the bird chest I know—to produce the movie’s anthem “Hoppin’ Over Fences.” Check out the exclusive clip below where Skateboard P talks about his inspiration for the beat. Wilfrido Vargas Inspires Wisin y Yandel
sitv_latin_music_wisin_y_yandel.jpg

Wisin y Yandel stay reinventing themselves and the Latin urban genre (whatever that is) with their music and music videos. Yet, as every artist they borrow or are at least inspired by previous generations. With WYY’s new single, “Abusadora,” I couldn’t help but reminisce over my parents’ house parties back in the day.
