Creative Marriage Proposals

My friend George wants to take his girlfriend to the Bahamas and ask her to marry him. He's really excited about planning the engagement and has been running ideas by me all weekend, unfortunately, I think he's dead set on one that makes me nervous. 

His plan is to take her out for a day at the beach and have her trip over a bottle with a message in it that says, "Will you marry me?"

I think it sounds like a disaster. How's he going to get the bottle out there and place it without her noticing? How's he going to get her to trip on it? And what if she REALLY TRIPS  on it? 

George has his mind made up though, so we'll see how it goes.

Listen guys, I know asking a woman to marry you can be stressful because you want to get the moment right--surprise her, make sure it's romantic, memorable. But, there's good news. As much as we love when you're creative, sometimes we're just excited to get engaged, so how elaborate you are about the actual plan isn't that important.

It's really all about the ring anyway. Just kidding (sort of).

What I'm trying to say is, if you want to marry your girl, just tell her. It's really easy. And if you want to create the perfect moment, then make it simple. Ask her when she least expects it. The best stories I have ever heard were because the girl didn't expect to get engaged, she just thought it was a typical vacation or dinner with her honey.

But if you do want to come up with a crazy plan...then at least make sure it's foolproof. The guy in this video had a great idea...check it out!
