POSTED Tuesday, August 04, 2009 at 11:01 PM Remember a few months ago, when Eva Mendes along with the cast and crew of Queen of the South had to hightail it out of Mexico because increasing amounts of drug-related violence? Well, it looks like Eva is headed right back—at least as far as the border. And she's bringing Matthew McConaughey with her. Read More
Tags: POSTED Monday, August 03, 2009 at 11:14 PM Just had to share this picture of Jenny and Marc at an event in Rome. Do these people not look like they're made out of Cyberskin and metal? Or like they should be at Madame Toussauds? Bizarre! Read More
Tags: POSTED Sunday, August 02, 2009 at 11:22 PM When you check out George Lopez’s talk show (which premieres on TBS in the late fall), don’t expect the usual trappings of late-night TV: a desk, cue cards and a lengthy monologue. The comedian says he ain’t having none of that. “’Monologue’ sounds like a dissertation," Lopez said when he recently hit up the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "It's hard to make formal look cool." Read More
Tags: POSTED Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 2:22 AM As if having two back-to-back birthday parties wasn't enough, I woke up this morning to one more reason to envy Jennifer Lopez: She, hubby Marc Anthony and twins Emme and Max climbed aboard their private jet and skipped over to Rome for a holiday. Tags: POSTED Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11:33 PM Hard to believe, but our girl turns 40 today. Love her or hate her, you have to admit Jennifer Lopez has accumulated some major accomplishments to her name since her breakout role in 1997's Selena and done little to embarrass Latinos. For that, I salute her as she goes over that hill. And I was all set to do a tribute, but, well, People has more money and did a pretty kick-ass photo slide show with lots of good info. Read More
Tags: POSTED Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 11:45 PM Well, kinda. The Cuban American actress joins Ugly Betty this fall. Her role? Natalie, Daniel's new assistant. You'll remember that last season closed with Betty as Mode's new features editor. Sources told EW.com that Natalie is "spiritual, sexy and funny." Not much of a stretch—well, at least the last two attributes—from Sigler's last gigs, a guest spot on Entourage last season and that cameo as a cashier girl in the SNL spoof song video, Jizz in my Pants.
