Meet Paz Vega's New Baby

As a celeb, Paz Vega is a bit of a rarity. She's talented and at age 33, in her prime movie-making years—especially for someone trying to have a Hollywood breakthrough. But twice in the last three years, the Spanglish actress put all that aside to have kids: Son Orson, who was born in 2007, and this July 17, a baby girl named Ava.

Being from Spain, that of course meant that Paz scored a cover from the gossip magazine Hola (see above). In it, she talks about mommyhood, which she calls "superhuman." "The love that you feel for your kids is like a bottomless well," she says. "It doubles, triples itself. It's inexhaustible and unexplainable."

"Motherhood is superhuman, the piece of the puzzle that was missing," she said. "Sometimes, I ask myself how I lived without having that. In homes where there are children, there is light."

She also recalled the moment she saw Ava for the first time. "More than her face, I remember the moment that I heard her cry and realized that she was alive and breathing. At that moment, you feel great peace and relief."

Aww. Almost makes me wanna go get knocked up. Almost.
