I was pleasantly surprised to go to an Avon-style cosmetics party and a.) not be pressured in to buying ish I don't need b.) not get made up to look like Lady Gaga and c.) get my lips read by one of the top psychics in the U.S. The real Zana Cosmetics draw is the girls night-themed party!

Imagine this: in a rush to L.A. Fashion Week you forget that the shoes you slipped on—the only ones that went perfectly with your 'fit—are a 1/2 size too big and annoyingly slip off your heels when you walk. Sucks, right? We've all been there before, but lucky for me Foot Petals were at the event just when I needed them.

Sorry I've been away for so long. I didn't want to blog goodbye—I knew I'd eventually come back—but my focus here at Sí TV has shifted from fashion to Model Latina Miami. Therefore my style musings have taken a back seat. With all the good fashion right now I just couldn't go another day without a blog about it. Below, I've listed a few of my favorite things.

I've been sitting on my new pair of Nike LunarGlide running shoes and Nike SportBand for a week now, waiting for the urge to run.

My sister-in-law/BFF Alisa just started selling her adorable handmade Vintage Sol pillow covers and felt coasters for a new online boutique called La Dama, which was just featured in N.E.E.T. magazine. Launched last month by fashion-addict-turned-online-shop-curator Leticia Wiley, La Dama carries a small but sweet collection of independently designed clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home decor. Sold.

I agree with some of the users who responded to our controversial question about Jocelyn being sent home. Homechick was hilarious, the life of the party, but did have a tendency to talk smack. At least she kept her smack talking consistent, choosing only Emeraude to diss.

It was a reunion for Model Latina Miami contestants Carolina, Yimarie and Lisa, who've already been sent home, and Christine, who's still in the running.

Tension’s growing and while most of the ladies are shook-up about two contestants leaving at once, Emeraude’s not. She busts out the classic reality show line: “I’m here for the competition. Not to make friends.” At least she keeps it real. She has enough enemies to prove it.

One more reason (besides cutting down on your weekly pedicures) to get psyched for fall: Cassie's new collabo with DimePiece called Nine Lives. In addition to jumping on the partly-shaved-head bandwagon, the part Mexicana hip-hop hottie is teaming up with L.A. line DimePiece for an autumn/winter collection of black and white tees.

It's rare for an underground rapper to get this much love before his album even hits iTunes, but that's what People Pulling Strings party planners are all about. The album release party for L.A. experimental rapper Gunnie Sanotchra's "Girl Crazy" was crackin' with beautiful mujeres.
